Is it His Image or Mine?

When the Lord shift your lens from seeing yourself the way you’ve always seen yourself, to the way he sees you, it doesn’t matter what size, season , moment you are in, you begin to fall in Love with yourself because you get a glimpse of how much He Loves you in-depth, with your flaws and all.

He sees his perfection modeled through you in his image and likeness. As you look in the mirror you no longer strive to Love that girl you see, because she was purchased with the highest price, she is called righteous, Gods grace is upon her and she is His most favorite representative of Himself.

This new lens that the Father gives you shows you all that you have in him, instead of what you don’t have and what you think you might need. Remember your worth is far more valuable then what you have seen, and others have criticized. all your life. Rest in the beautiful creation that the Almighty made, which is you. Ask him to open your eyes for you to see, yourself the way he sees you, and stop spitting on, criticizing, and rejecting the image and likeness of the King of Kings. It breaks his heart to see you tear down his most valuable handiwork.

Prayer:

Lord, I repent for all the times I have diminished, complained, felt disgusted, spat on, hated myself because I never saw myself the way your created me. Have mercy and reveal to me who I am to you and How you see me. Help me to know and remember always that I’m Loved in-depth no matter what, it is a blessing in itself to be me! Help me embrace myself and fall in Love with your creation everyday.
