The waiting Room

Scripture :Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

I sit here reading the scripture over and over highlighting each word and reading various versions of this scripture.

As I read the various versions the meaning echos in me, as I Sit in stillness just meditating on “what is God saying here?

What does it mean ?

What does it mean to wait??

Waiting -expectant, hoping, anticipating, watchful, eager, vigilant etc…

There is current situation that is occurring at the moment that had prompted you to be in expectation of something better. You are eager, watchful and hoping for better with anticipation.

This current status leave you wanting more and aiming for more.

Something on the inside of you is refusing to accept your current position and leaves you believing for the unknown that will be better and brighter.

I think about siting in a hospital lobby called “ waiting room”.

Especially if you went to see your love one who is ill or going through a surgery and so forth.

Siting in that Hospital room , you are hopeful for their health and can’t wait to hear back from the doctor. In this instance our confidence is placed in that medical personnel or we are counting on their level of expertise to resolve and bring healing to our loved one.

The wait is initiated as soon as our loved one get ill.

It is set in motion as we take them to the hospital. Immediate our entire being longs for healing which is better Heath then their current state.

The wait can be short but May seem long when we are consumed and really exhausted and tired of the situation.

We then find ourselves in the waiting room drained and tired.

In a state of mind of enough is enough.

Well this scripture, as you read the entire passage it is encouraging us that they that await on the Lord, He shall renew their strength, — giving them more strength, more energy and zeal to keep going.

The Lord is promising to give “them” more grace to keep going and to hold on and not to let go. In the instance of sitting in a waiting room, do not loose hope, do not give up and concede to defeat.

Keep trusting as the Lord dispense a new level of peace that passes all understanding and give you rest as you wait in anticipation.

They shall run and not be weary. — Running exhaust you, and burns your energy which makes your tired.

The Lord understands that you’ve been running and running a He’s assuring you peace of mind.

Instead of burning out, running out of stamina, God is dispensing more grace to not be weary.

To again not loose hope and to keep the faith.

The courage to stay constant and consistent in the process.

When you run you get dehydrated, exhausted and get weary but God is sweeping in and giving you extra strength and gracing you to keep going and keep pressing on, without loosing hope or giving up on God.

Giving you the tenacity to keep pushing through.

Depend on Jesus, do not give up my friend.

They shall run and not faint.

You shall not pass out in simple terms.

You shall not loose the courage to keep going in Jesus name.

May this scripture encourage you today to keep pressing.

You will get there, while you wait I pray God open your eyes to see the miracles in the midst of all that you are encountering today.

Keep pushing and you will see the goodness of God.

Allow Him to carry you from season to season!!

Be encouraged..
